Patience

After five years I have finally completed my spanish sampler.

I began it in April of 2003, three weeks before I was called to be Relief Society President, followed by YW President. We have moved three times (one of which was our "overseas" move) and we are in our second phase of reconstruction on our home. So, after many distractions and chaos, it is finally completed. I have figured that it could have been finished in about four months, but as all you mothers understand, five years is pretty good!

Patience is right. It's so beautiful. Seriously, you know how much I love that one. Now you just have to get it framed and hung for all to admire.

That is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. It is amazing! I wish I had that kind of patience, and talent!

Love it!
I still have a snowman wall hanging the size of a quilt unfinished that I started 3 years ago. I hang it up every year anyway. But I never think about finishing it until the holidays and I'm too overwhelmed then.

Wow! Mom you did it! You worked so hard, and it paid off(after five years of work.)! With all the moves, constuction and chaos you didn't have much time. But you finished! AMAZING!

It is an heirloom! Who is going to get it? You need to make at least two. I wonder if this is the cause of your headaches?

This is an amazing sampler! What wonderful stitching you do. Is it a published pattern, or did you design it yourself?

I know this comment is late but have to tell you how beautiful your sampler is. I've looked at all those stitches you stitched so perfectly and wonder could I do that? I'm glad I can still see it :)
