Happiest Place on Earth

We just returned from our yearly Disneyland adventure. This year wins for the best weather and worst attitudes! Overall it was a great trip.

Thunder Mountain is the family favorite.

Micky Mouse's hearth, Minnie's House, and our favorite Disneyland treat: Dole Whips!

Joshua and Lindsay are old enough to have strong preferences about rides and activities. Lindsay loves the wild and crazy make you dizzy adrenaline rush rides while Joshua prefers the exploration fun of Tom Sawyer's island and Adventure Creek (Cal. Adventure). Lauren's just happy to be at Disneyland. She is young enough to enjoy the magic and old enough to meet the height requirements for all the rides. She went on California Screeming for the first time, finally tall enough!

We always like to try new things on each DisneyLand trip to add variety. This time we explored the joys and miseries of face painting. The kids loved it! I think it was one of the most memorable parts of the trip for them. However, it did make Lauren's "worst part of the vacation vote" because of how disappointed she was when her swans were washed away on Splash Mountain.

By the time I figured out you had moved, you had taken off for D-land (which I also didn't know about).

I am really jealous! While you were all hanging out in Disneyland having fun, I was trudging along in Moab for 13.1 miles. (I'm glad that at least I knew you had moved - how do you think that makes Erin feel?)
I hope you are planning on coming to brunch on Saturday!!!!!

Puk,???? where have you been? Come by and see the place. We still have quite a bit of the move still to do. We took off in the middle of it.

Mel, how sore are your feet and other places? I'll have to see about Saturday...call me.
